@ MarshallTK: I was only kidding. I didn’t even say drifting makes you faster in a lap. I was just being a little humorous just saying it looks the Viper just wouldn’t drift as easily as the Corvette. I do play games, Forza Motorsport 3 to be exact and I know the difference between a simulator racing game and real life. My friend had a Vette and he drifted in it while I was in the car with him. It was seriously intense. You don’t get that real experience in a simulator game

The reason its difficult to drift in the 2008 Viper is due to the immense grip and ps2 sport cup tires.
Vette doesn’t have much grip and uses run-flats.
The Viper would actually destroy the vette on a road course.

SRt10 is 3 seconds slower per lap compared to the ACR

Stock for Stock, The Corvette would smoke the Viper on the track. The Viper is nice, has a brutal torque curve, but Chevrolet did a much better job setting the Corvette up for the track. It also has very respectable, but usable power.
Vipers are have a lot of torqe, no traction, no stability control and they suffer from one more common America car flaw. Numb sterring, you cant feel the road like many other sports cars. Now I have never driven one but I have talked with people who have its there just beasts.

Because it’s a racing car. You have to be a good driver to drive it. If you’re good enough, you can put the hard driving to your advantage.

The ZO6 looks better going around the turns than the Viper. The Viper’s V10 didn’t want to drift I guess. lol.

I can control a car pretty damn good and im sure alot of other people on here can as well but man it takes a tone of talent to drift a car properly and i know i can’t do it maybe with alot of practice. Just because you can turn a car or truck sideways and save it does not mean you can drift. To do it on ice or snow goin slow is one thing but on dry pavement they bite faster and grip harder and your goin faster..cool vid!
